In 2000, Dr. Hershman wrote a review of  the book The Church and Homosexuality by the Rev. Merton Stroehman, MDiv, EdD, Licensed Psychologist. The book was well researched, and Dr, Hershman's review, originally distributed by the Kairos_News Service in 2001 was well received, being posted on a number of websites including those of the Evangelical Lutheran  Fellowshp (ELCF), the WordAlone Network (WAN), the Fellowship of Confessional Lutherans (FOCL), etc.

Deconstructing the Essential Father

In 1999, the American Psychological Association (APA), functioning as a herald of politically correct cultural change published an ultra-feminist driven article which attempted to build a case for the irrelevance of a father's presence in a child's life. Of course, this article had no credibility and was quickly dispatched by experts in the field, becoming a horrible embarrassment for the APA.
