The book was well researched, and Dr, Hershman's review, originally distributed by the Kairos_News Service in 2001 was well received, being posted on a number of websites including those of the Evangelical Lutheran Fellowshp (ELCF), the WordAlone Network (WAN), the Fellowship of Confessional Lutherans (FOCL), etc.
